It's been a handful of emotional days recently. My boyfriend and I talked things over and we're going to go back to the long distance thing for a little bit. I'm moving back to California with my parents until I get this art thing a bit more established, or move towards a career in that area, and get all my stuff in order. He's going to be staying up here in Oregon in the time being and working and saving up, too.
Definitely will be sad for a while. I'm incredibly excited at the same time though-- I'll be back in the place I love, I'll actually have friends and family around, and I won't be scrounging for rent money each month. I might start going to college like I've been wanting, and being able to save money while doing what I love. To go to school/intern/work at something in the art field, California only makes sense to me.
Hopefully this will allow us to meet again in the future when we're more established adults... and not move in spur-of-the-moment like our crazy 19-year old selves did. I'm going to miss him a lot though... Why do logical decisions usually have to hurt so much? ; ^ ; We'll still be talking online every day and hanging out. Plus we've promised to visit each other at least once by the end of the year, heh.
Early to mid May is when I'm going to be moving.
